This is a video of a Canadian children’s choir singing ‘Tala’ al-Badru ‘Alayna’ as a gesture of welcome to the Syrian refugees beginning to arrive in the country. The song, one of Islam’s oldest, is the song Muhammed was sung when he sought refuge in the city of Medina.
